One of the courses taken back in the uni was Product Development and Brand Building, which focused on creating products and brands that address real-world problems. A notable example is Tipolokal, an online platform designed to tackle the lack of exposure and market opportunities for Indonesian type designers. Similar to MyFonts but localized, Tipolokal allows designers to showcase and sell their fonts while also providing supportive initiatives such as Lokaltype, a collaborative foundry that helps type designers legally produce their work.
